As a general practice we suggest using precaution when introducing new environments to your table. Concrete is a porous material that will absorb liquid spills.
- Please cover table surfaces when possible to prevent damage. If spills occur, blot with a dry cloth immediately.
- To avoid water rings do not place wet items on the table without coasters. Please double check that decor items such as vases do not leak before placing them on the table.
- Concrete is highly resilient, but due to its porous nature there is an increased risk of scratching, etching and other damage. Do not drag items across the table surface to avoid such damage.
- Using coasters and placemats under glasses and hot dishes will lengthen the lifespan of the protective sealer used on your table.
- Brightly coloured liquids/solids (wine, turmeric, pasta sauce, etc.) left unattended can cause discolouration. We recommend avoiding exposure to direct sunlight and heat to prevent fading and cracking.
To clean, wipe with a dry/ slightly damp cloth. In the unlikely event that you have a stubborn stain, do a spot test with a ph neutral cleanser in a discreet area before using it on the surface. Do NOT use lysol or harsh chemicals as they will strip the sealer. Reseal yearly depending on use/wear and tear.
